The Hurns Beer Company

Our parent company, The Hurns Brewing Co. was originally established as the Hurns Mineral Water Co. in 1872 by Arthur A Hurn. The first Hurns premises were based in Northampton Lane in Swansea and the initial range of products included bottled soda water, ginger beer, lemonade and cordials. A family-run business, the company still sees three generations working side by side. The Hurns Brewing Company acquired the Tomos Watkin Brewery in 2002, and we never looked back!

Tomos Watkin first operated from a small brewery in Llandeilo, Carmarthenshire and later opened a larger brewery in Llansamlet, Swansea.  We are now proud to brew a wide selection of beverages from our brewery in the Swansea Enterprise Park and also have two successful distribution centres based in Fforestfach Industrial Estate, Swansea and Van Road, Caerphilly.

Our fully functioning distribution centres make it easy to transport our ales and ciders around the country, and we also offer soft drinks and spirits distribution to various local businesses. For trade enquiries, please contact fraser@hurnsbeer.com
